John and Gayle have lived and worked in Missoula for over 25 years. They both share a love of nature and enjoy the discovery of exploring it within its’ many depths.

Montana easily offers many venues for play through hiking, walking, biking, skiing, kayaking, canoeing, snowshoeing and camping. There have always been ample material for the unique visuals for what they have captured.

John has a devotion to details that has served him well in his chosen career as an ophthalmologist. His intrigue and curiosity about the eye, how it works, how the brain sees and interprets the inputs from the eye have heavily influenced his photography.

Photography has always been a cherished form of expression for John and reflects his passion and exploration of the wonder of life. He seeks to give a new way of seeing by creating, within the viewer, specific emotions by using patterns, shapes, simplicity, colors and light.

As a mom and a nurse, Gayle values living the simple enjoyment of each moment. She has explored many aspects of healing through traditional and alternative modalities. It is often through this ever expanding and inclusive view that she gains insights into the energy and emotion captured in each image.

Gayle’s passion lies in the creativity and fun that goes into exploring the depths of the photos through words. She is the energy behind the development of the cards. She enjoys getting an inner sense of what lies within the image and fine tuning these sensations into the descriptive words unique to each card.
